What does the research actually say about why Montessori works? In this session, the team at Y Montessori takes Dr. Angeline Lillard’s landmark study and turns it into an interactive data story we will explore together. The research found significant gains in reading, executive function, memory, and theory of mind at a lower cost than traditional programs. We will go beyond the headline numbers to examine what the evidence tells us about the three-year cycle, mixed-age classrooms, independence, and implementation fidelity, and we will look at how schools can better help families understand the learning happening in front of them every day.
As usual, the webinar is free for members and $20 for non-members. All who register will receive the recording, so sign up even if you can’t join live.
