We are so excited to announce that we, the Black Montessori Education Fund (BMEF), have partnered up with Montessori Training Center Northeast (MTCNE) to deliver the first English-Speaking Caribbean AMI Orientation Training Course.

The 3-6 Orientation Course, formerly known as the Assistant's Course, is from July 13-August 7 and is entirely online, taking place Monday to Friday from 6-8 pm EST. It will equip any interested parents, teachers, and the like with necessary information to understand what the Montessori pedagogy is about and how to begin preparing your environments for it to do its magic.

This course is suitable for any adult who wants to better understand the Montessori approach to child development; including classroom assistants, school administrators, teachers, student teachers, specialist teachers, those in other professions working with children as well as parents, grandparents, and carers.

A certificate from AMI will be given to all who complete the course requirements.

The orientation course is open to learners in all regions, but there will be tiered pricing for CARICOM members, affiliate members, and non-CARICOM members.
