Black Montessori Wellness & Restorative Living Retreat June 19-21, 2026
It’s time for you to care for yourself
Join us Juneteenth weekend 2026
For an all-inclusive 3 day immersive experience in nature designed to help you reset, realign, and rest in community with those who share your lived experience and calling.
Reset
In the rhythm of the Montessori classroom, we give so much of ourselves in service to the growth of others. This retreat is your invitation to pause — to step away from the prepared environment you tend to so carefully and create space for your own renewal.
Realign
Return to the roots of your Montessori practice. Through reflection, community, and connection, we’ll realign with the principles that ground our work — peace, respect, and the prepared spirit. Together, we’ll rediscover the balance between guiding others and nurturing ourselves.
Rest
Rest is essential to restoration — for our bodies, our spirits, and the environments we create. In this sacred space, surrounded by nature and care, you’ll have time to breathe, to be still, and to remember that rest itself is a revolutionary part of the Montessori journey.
This isn’t a solo getaway.
It’s a first-of-its-kind collaboration that brings together education and restoration specifically for Black Montessori educators to replenish their minds, bodies, and spirits through holistic living, shared experiences, and connection with nature. Hosted at Paradise Park Atlanta, an 8-acre wellness sanctuary just 20 minutes outside of downtown Atlanta, the retreat invites you to reset, realign, and rest — together.
The retreat is all-inclusive — your shared accommodations, farm-to-table meals, and restorative programming are all included in the price. Just book your flight, arrive, and immerse yourself fully in community and renewal. Optional spa services are available for purchase directly at the retreat center.
Every detail is designed to foster connection and shared experience:
Farm-to-table communal meals that nourish both body and conversation.
Shared cabins and gathering spaces that encourage presence, reflection, and authentic connection.
Wellness experiences — from guided reflection and sound therapy to gentle movement that restores energy and focus.
Nature as your backdrop — rivers, gardens, and quiet corners that invite both stillness and shared discovery.
Designed for Black Montessori educators, this retreat is about collective renewal — a space to gather, reconnect with purpose, and restore together.
