Our Stabilization Campaign

The BMEF is at a critical moment. Like many BIPOC-led grassroots organizations, we have built something real and lasting on limited resources and deep community commitment. Now we need to stabilize our foundation so we can continue showing up for Black children, educators, and communities without interruption.

We have set a goal of $40,000 over 90 days. Every dollar raised goes directly toward sustaining our operations, protecting our programs, and ensuring that the educators, families, and communities who depend on us can count on us to be here.

This is not about growth. It is about care, integrity, and sustainability. It is about making sure the BMEF can keep doing what it was built to do.

Become a Regular Donor

$50 puts Montessori books in the hands of an educator who couldn't otherwise afford them.

$100 helps cover application and testing fees for a Black educator pursuing Montessori certification.

$250 supports a Black-led program in purchasing the materials it needs to serve its community well.

$500 supports a teacher training scholarship, investing directly in a Black educator's path to certification.

$1,000 funds a child tuition scholarship, ensuring a Black family can access a Montessori environment that fully sees and supports their child.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

The BMEF is a small, dedicated organization sustained by people who believe Black children deserve better. We don't have endowments or large institutional backing. What we have is a community of donors who understand that this work matters and show up for it.

Your gift goes directly into the hands of Black educators pursuing their training, families who chose Montessori for their children and needed support to make it possible, and community leaders building something new in places where it has never existed before.
